So you say you like your steaks well done. So basically, you like chewing on rubber. Let’s talk about that.
You might not order steak properly (catch that shade) because you are “grossed out” by the “blood”. Well first of all— that’s not blood. And please note— if you cook out all of that liquid, the meat dries out. Is that really what you want? Dry, chewy meat?
Second, let’s just put it out there. I know your Madea told you that you have to cook all of your meat well done. I’m going to say it— Madea is wrong. And it’s not her fault. Our ancestors did not have the same access to different cuisines and food preparations like we do now. Now we have access to more information, and have different meal preparation guidelines that can ensure the safety of the food we eat without sacrificing the flavor. Let’s utilize that information and stretch our boundaries. After all— aren’t you tired of getting tough steak stuck in your teeth?
